Designing a Social Impact Camp Experience

Brief

We worked with Youth Corps Singapore to develop their first ever gamified camp for social impact leaders, titled Mission X.

This camp was designed around real-life application of social impact theories, and featured a Mission segment, where participants developed an experience for real-world clients.

Solution

We built a narrative around Mission X participants, and tied their scoring of squad points to not just their performance, but their team unity and their willingness to contribute ideas as well.

Squads created a unique Squad handshake that they used within the squad, and worked together with other squads to earn enough points to enter the Mission X Hall of Fame.

Game Points

Building strong and relevant Narratives and Team Identities help bind and immerse participants into the central objective of a campaign or programme, and give them added vested interest in completing tasks and achieving goals.
